„Dear World Youth Day friends,
We hope you’ve been doing very well since the last WYD and that the light of God’s love shines brighter in your hearts than ever before!
We launched this World Youth Day book, written by the youth, called The Spirit of JMJ. It is full of powerful stories from young volunteers and pilgrims, who took part at the WYD in Rio, in the tropical Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro.
Read their life-changing stories, which is a testament to the refreshing spirit of World Youth Day and help us spread the word! Let’s change our world like we changed Rio, by sharing the happiness with everyone we meet! The book includes hundreds of photos, as well as stories from volunteers, pilgrims, bishops, cardinals, politicians, musicians, couples and seminarians.
The Spirit of JMJ RIO has also been added to the Vatican Archives and the book has been shipped to various countries around the world. Right now, the book is available in English and Polish and the translation into Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German and French is available for you to read and enjoy at the iBook store!
The book is a great way to express the Spirit of World Youth Day to all youth! We invite you to spread the word and encourage the youth to attend the next WYD!
